Columbus Wedding / Jan & Mark
Let me start by saying that Jan & Mark’s Columbus wedding was one of my most memorable from 2014 for several reasons…the most obvious is that we planned their wedding in just 63 days from start to finish! Not only was it a short planning process, but it was 2 days after Christmas, so we were very busy during the holidays!
I’d describe Jan as a fireball, and I loved it! We clicked immediately - I had such a fun time planning with her even though it went very quickly. It was the smallest wedding I’ve ever planned, but I quickly discovered that Jan and Mark’s closest friends and family are an amazing group of people.
The Athletic Club of Columbus was a perfect fit for our intimate wedding adorned in navy and gold (did I mention that I am IN LOVE with this navy sequin linen from Got Ya Covered?). With only 18 guests (all of whom traveled from out of state), Jan and Mark were able to give their each guest a personalized token of their appreciation. The women received pashminas while the men received decanters, and everyone was given an adorable ornament etched with every city in Ohio, a buckeye and an Ohio shaped chocolate bar. After the dinner party, guests enjoyed “The Booth” - an amazing little after-party space complete with a bowling alley and a bar - what more could you want? Amy Rebecca captured all the details…
