So I started off on the wrong foot with Kelley and her mother - I missed our initial consultation. I mean I literally stood them up (calendar mistake on my part when changing our meeting date/time). They were so understanding and willing to meet with me again another day - and I’m so glad! They were so pleasant to chat with and so understanding of my mistake, I was so happy they decided to move forward despite my major mistake! They wanted someone to ease their minds in the final planning months and run the day so they could enjoy it.

They had planned to hold Kelley and Jon’s Columbus wedding at the Boathouse. I love the colors they chose - navy blue bridesmaids dresses with peach, blush, ivory and burgundy florals and touches of gold. They opted for a beautiful cupcake table, simple but elegant centerpieces and a few DIY details. The day turned out perfectly for an outdoor ceremony officiated by the groom’s brother and best man followed by full dance floor overlooking the city. Kelley and Jon (and their families) were able to enjoy the entire wedding while we made sure everything was exactly how they had envisioned - check out the photos from January Newbanks!
