Grand Event Center / Jen + Mark

Soft, elegant, romantic blush and gold.

When I first met with Jen and Mark thats how they described their vision. I worked to pull together design pieces that captured this feel while allowing their personalities to shine through. All of the elements for Jen and Mark’s day tied in wonderfully at the Grand Event Center. It was a beautiful start to a beautiful marriage.

The Vision

Working with Jen and Mark was such a pleasure, and I was so excited to help pull off their perfect day and vision. Jen emits an air of classic elegance and grace down to every small detail. We centered the concept around blush satin linens, florals, and candles which were carried throughout the whole day.

The Ceremony

Both the ceremony and the reception were held at the Grand Event Center. The ceremony was beautiful with a detailed floral arch to crown their union as a couple. Orchard Lane Flowers did a great job with the florals from the ceremony through the reception. They captured the soft classic feel with delicate blooms of blush shades with dark greenery to add texture and depth.

The Reception

This was my first time working at Grand Event Center because it’s so new. During cocktail hour, we transformed the intimate ceremony space into a gorgeous reception that was ready for a night of celebrating.

The table settings were a focal piece to pulling together the night. In order to draw in all of the different pieces from throughout the day, we laid glass gold beaded chargers with satin blush napkins to add a certain delicacy. Orchard Lane Flowers added interest to the space with three different centerpiece designs. These designs incorporated soft candle light and blush florals. We worked with BBJ Linens to find an intricate lace overlay for the Tuscan Table, and it added a flawless touch of detail to the bridal table.

Time To Celebrate

The cookie table was very important to Jen and her family, and they spent weeks baking for the big day. I wanted to make sure the table showcased the beautiful cookies well. We added risers and satin linens for the table. After the cookies were carefully arranged, we placed florals and candles to bring a feel of elegance.

With a decadent home made cookie table and the music booming, the night ended on a high note as the new couple danced the night away.
